Pleurothallis radula

November 29, 2012

Pleurothallis radula Luer 1979.

A beautiful terrestrial that grows in Costa Rica at elevations of 1500 – 2000 meters. Cool growing.

I grow this species in a clay pot filled with Xaxim and Sphagnum moss. Needs a lot of humidity to flower. Grow it 150 cm underneath the lamps 3x Osram Dulux 80W) so it´s satisfied with low light.

Minimum temperatures in winter +10°C to +12°C and maximum in winter +19°C. Lot´s of humidity and air movement.
